You're assured the counselor you speak to is one of the best in his or her field. Your counselor has undergone an extensive and rigorous training program to receive their accreditation with the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education (AFCPE).
We provide educational curriculum, literature, seminars, etc., to carry on our organizational mission to improve or develop consumers' financial capabilities. As a non-profit credit-counseling agency, we will also provide consumers with programs to assist them in the repayment of their current indebtedness.

Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, Genesis Financial Management Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt not-for-profit organization. Genesis was established on October 31st 2001 and is led by its President, Preston O. Duppins, Jr and supported by an independent Board of Trustees.
Preston O. Duppins Jr., Founder & President
As President and Founder of Genesis Financial Management, Inc., Mr. Duppins is responsible for all aspects of the company's activities. Prior to establishing Genesis, Mr. Duppins was Co-Founder and Secretary/Treasurer of one of the largest credit counseling agencies in the country, where he learned the credit counseling industry from the ground up. Starting as a counselor and progressing upward, Preston managed both the customer service and sales side of the business with his career peaking as Vice President of Operations. Preston brings over ten years of operational experience in the debt management industry as well as a desire to provide world-class financial education to promote sound personal financial management skills.
